Minutes—The November minutes were read and approved.
Dickens of a Dinner—We shared highlights of the Dickens of a Dinner fundraiser that was held on Saturday, Dec. 1. While attendance was down slightly from previous years, the event was very successful.
Expenses—The Board approved two miscellaneous expenses: $60 for a live animal trap (for a neighborhood raccoon) and $85 for wire to enclose the chicken coop area, to discourage pigeons from eating the chicken feed.
Lead/Coal Project—We discussed the progress of the Lead/Coal project. Bonnie reported that plans are still being reviewed for cost by the City.
Traffic—The City is collecting input from citizens regarding a proposal to create a dedicated lane to the Rapid Ride buses on Central so that buses could travel faster and ridership could increase. After a brief discussion, we decided that Huning Highlands would join EDo in their opposition to this proposal because we value pedestrian safety on Central over increasing bus ridership.
The meeting adjourned at 7:00. The next meeting is Wednesday, January 2.
