Oct 5 Meeting Announcement

Here is the draft agenda for our monthly neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30 PM at the Garden.  Ann Carson has agreed to lead the meeting in the absence of our president and vice president. The Board welcomes input and participation from all residents of the neighborhood.  Attached are the minutes from the September meeting.

1. Approval of September Minutes
2. Election of Officers for 2011-12
3. Dickens of a Dinner - planning etc.
4. FIRE STATION #2 AT SILVER AND HIGH—The city is proposing to move our fire station to Gibson to make room for more vehicles and equipment.
5. COUNCIL REDISTRICTING—Our city council district may be eliminated (lumped with surrounding districts) to allow a new district on the West Side.
6. HEALTH COUNCILING AT 416 ARNO SE—Do we want a facilitated meeting on this issue?
7. CENTURY LINK GIVEN APPROVAL FOR EQUIPMENT—The company has permission from the LUCC to locate equipment boxes at the alley at Copper between Edith and Arno
8. Results of parking lot hearing for 119 Arno
