Crime Report—Officers gave brief crime report.

Minutes of the May meeting were read and approved.

ART/Complete streets—Complete streets went in front of LUCC but there was no quorum, will meet again June 8. Edo/Huning Highland agree to the ART plan so long as some design changes are made in our neighborhood. Motion to spend $400 to bring Peter Swift, a traffic engineer, to speak on three issues: parking along Central, left turns from Central, and the stretch between Broadway and 1st. Approved.

Sprawl vs. Infill—Moises speaks on the planned development Santolina that is currently seeking approval.

First Presbyterian Church—Ron gave us an update about the church clean up: collected 16 bags. Plan to put an aquaponic garden at the church, in the future may install aquaponics in the dirt parking lot at copper and high.

Heading home—Heading home is a good city project that aims to place at risk homeless people into apartments. Needs more research but in the future, perhaps the neighborhood would be willing to fund moving a couple people a year into apartments through this program.

Fire House Support—Motion for Bonnie to write a letter of support to LUCC for the Fire House project.

Meeting adjourned at 7:27. Next meeting is Wed., July 6, 2016.
