Minutes—Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved. 

New Board Member—David Tanner was unanimously voted onto the board.

 

Introductions—New Residents introduced themselves.

 

Business

  • Salley reported that there was a scam targeting various neighborhood associations asking for money for projects.
  • Vince reported that the Storehouse says that they want to move but have not acted on it. In light of that, he’s considering various options for development. The EDo board trying to get a $100,000 grant. Plans are for signage (a rooftop sign on Broadway and Central and a monument sign near Parq Central. Signage and branding will use brick for a motif.
  • A rooftop sign will involve rezoning. There were no objections from the board.
  • Steve reported that the hearing is on 2/8/2018 to rezone the Historic B&B so that it can hold outdoor events.
  • Bonnie reported that there was a request from Nob Hill and University Heights neighborhood associations to support a study on concerns on speeding and accidents.
  • Susan got estimates on signs for our neighborhood - they will cost about $600 each which includes installation. There was discussion about location of the signs. Ben and Dave will work with Susan.
  • Bonnie reported that gaining 504c3 status will include an ongoing cost. Discussion on this issue was tabled.
